Mr. John Tibballs – Director
John has been involved in the electrical industry since the late 1960’s. He completed his electrical apprenticeship and further electrical science studies and has worked in senior positions on many commercial and industrial projects in New South Wales and Queensland. He moved to Queensland in 1975.
John's experience included projects within the sugar, meat, and mining industry until he was offered a full time position with a large electrical company as a technical consultant in 1980. He assisted major end users in identifying and sourcing suitable technical products to increase production and efficiency.
Over the last 25 years he has dealt with most major lighting manufacturers and has been actively associated with many lighting installations and lighting upgrades.
His experience includes overseeing installations and final commissioning of projects at Dalrymple Bay Coal, Hay Point Services and for BHP, BMA, Anglo Coal, Rio Tinto, Xstrata, along with numerous sugar mills, meatworks and local councils.
John operates our Townsville office. His area of responsibility is the central and northern Queensland region.
His lighting experience in addition to his knowledge of all things electrical continues to prove invaluable ULS and our clientele.
